Indonesian Rugby commends the Jakarta Komodos, especially Gareth Rae on hosting the 2012 Crown Jakarta Komodos 10s at the British International School on Saturday May 5.
Not only did the weather sizzle but also the high octane action on the field and all in attendance appreciated the spirit in which the Rugby was played throughout a very long day by all 24 participating teams.
Congratulations must go the three winning teams from Malaysia, starting with the Front Row Club who took out the Bowl, Polytechnic Shah Alam who won the Plate and finally to the Serdang Angels B’s who won the Cup. All three of teams were made up of a majority of Malay born players who showed their Indonesian friends that you don’t necessarily have to be big to win a Rugby tournament but through hard work, training and dedication the results will come your way.
Indonesian Rugby would also like to thank Mark Manderson who coordinated the tournament behind the microphone and also the Referees from Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia who helped to officiate on and off the field.
