On Friday October 12, the Indonesian and International Rugby Community will come together at the site of the 2002 International Bali Rugby 10’s Tournament to remember the 27 Rugby players and supporters who died as a result of the 2002 Bali Bombings.

The 10th Anniversary Memorial Service will be held from 11am onward at the Rugby Memorial Plaque, which is located at the Inna Grand Bali Beach Hotel (GBBH) field, venue of the 2002 International Bali Rugby 10’s Tournament. Members of the general public are welcome to attend this service and asked to arrive at the venue no later than 10.30am.

For directions on how to get to the Memorial Service – if heading from Kuta-Legian area, take the Ngurah Rai Bypass road to Sanur. Turn right into Jl. Hang Tuah at the set of traffic lights near McDonalds and then take the second right into Jl. Ina Bali Beach. Continue along this road past the entrance to the GBBH and the Bali Beach Golf Course before coming to the GBBH field. Security will be in attendance.
