On January 15, PRUI DKI Jakarta held their annual meeting at Es Teler 77 Restaurant to finalize their workplan and strategy to promote Rugby in the capital. The meeting was attended by 35 members and was a very successful meeting for all those in attendance.

The meeting started at 10:00 WIB with a speech from Pak Budiawan (KONI DKI Jakarta) and Fikri Al Azhar (PB PRUI). PRUI DKI Jakarta look forward for a successful year where Indonesia will host Asian Rugby Championship Division 3 East and also send a National Development Team to Islamic Solidarity Games in Malacca and teams to the SEA Games in Singapore later this year.

PRUI DKI Jakarta also would like to host an Annual Provincial Tournament for all respected district in Jakarta and is also aiming to host an Inter-Univesity tournament.

At this annual meeting PRUI DKI Jakarta also inaugurated the committee for all five districts in Jakarta DKI:

• North Jakarta: Christoporus Tatang Hariatmoko S.Or
• East Jakarta: Sidiq
• South Jakarta: Yohannes Musi Uran Mema
• West Jakarta: Agus Maulana
• Central Jakarta: Bhareto S.Pd

PRUI would like to congratulate PRUI DKI Jakarta and look forward to working together in developing Rugby and tackling all the obstacles that both organisations will encounter this year.
