The Asian Games Rugby 7s official Pool Drawing was held at Hotel JS Luwansa in Jakarta on Thursday 5th July 2018 and conducted by Mr. Ross Mitchell, General Manager of Asia Rugby.
It is an honour and privilege for Rugby Indonesia to be able to host and participate in both the men’s and women’s Rugby 7s competition at Asia’s biggest multi-sport event.
12 men’s and eight women’s teams will participate in the competition that will be held from Thursday 30 August to Saturday 1 September 2018.
The Indonesian Men’s Team is placed in Pool B alongside Japan, Malaysia and Chinese Taipei while the Women’s Team is in Pool E with Japan, Kazakhstan and Thailand. The complete draw results can be seen in the tables below.
We wish both Indonesian Men’s and Women’s team the best of luck and call on all Indonesian Rugby enthusiasts and supporters to come down and support Rugby Indonesia at the Asian Games!
